Alta Lee Williams, 95, passed away at home on July 14, 2023. A lifelong Missourian, she was born to Dewey and Nettie (Breedlove) Kemper on July 31, 1927 in Boone County. She was a 1945 Hickman graduate. On December 28, 1947, she wed Norman Williams; a union that lasted 62 years until his passing. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed cooking, sewing, and collecting cat figurines.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter, Jane Williams, and a niece, Gayle Baker.
A graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery on Wednesday, July 19 at 9:30 AM.
