On November 4, 2016, Yolanda Julia Pernice, beloved wife of the late John B. Pernice. Loving mother of Louise Martinez and husband Arthur Sherman, Jacqueline Byrum and husband Drake Byrum, and Andrea Black and husband David Black. Brother of Anthony Contreras. Grandmother of Thomas Marshall and wife Candace, Lindsay Marshall and fiancé Dennis, Geoffrey Neidhardt and wife Kristin, Mark Ryan, and Valerie Ryan and fiance Jon Lewis. Great-grandmother of Julia, Janine, Jonathan, Jaelynn, and Charlie.

Memorial services will be held at Witzke Funeral Homes, Inc., 5555 Twin Knolls Rd., Columbia, MD 21045 on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 12 noon, where there will be a lunch following the services. Inurnment St. John’s Cemetery will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
