Pinchos Andreen died November 3, 2021 at the age of 84. He was born in San Francisco, California, and graduated from U. C. Berkeley with a B.A. in anthropology. He worked for the IRS, FDIC, the Rouse Company, and Columbia National Mortgage. Pinchos was an intrepid traveler, a lover of all things train-related, Post-It notes, Theater organs, ice hockey and good beer. He gathered friends from all over and was loved by young and old.
Pinchos is lovingly remembered by his family as well as his many friends and colleagues. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Barbara Whitehead; his children Noah, Carl and Wendy: and grandsons Cory and Isadore. He is also survived by his sisters Ellen Bryden, Irene Dietz, and Ina Gyemant, and by a brother, Jeffrey Levin. Survivors also include nieces, nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews.
Plans are currently being made for a Celebration of his life.
