Passed away peacefully on May 6, 2021 surrounded by her loving children after a short battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 70. Laura was born in Latrobe, PA and later moved to Beaver PA where she graduated from the Beaver Area High School. She and her late husband Dale S. Lambert, brought into this world their two most cherished gifts in life, son Joshua Lambert and daughter Courtney (Lambert) Stopp. Upon retirement, Laura and Dale moved to Leesburg, FL where they enjoyed many peaceful years in a beautiful home, under the warm sun, and surrounded by dear friends. In addition to her husband Dale, Laura was predeceased by her mother Nancy (Sipe) Bayron, father Harry K. Frye. The oldest of six children, Laura is survived by her sisters Michelle (Greg) Frank, Robin (Frank) Pletz, Janice Jasinski and brothers Chris (Rebecca) Frye and Pat (Laura) Frye. Laura was the proud and loving grandmother of Ethan and Emma Lambert (son and daughter of Josh and daughter in law Anne), and Asa and Anderson Stopp (sons of Courtney and son in law David). In addition to her immediate family, Laura was loved and cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. Laura lived for her family. She loved books and movies, the performing arts, travel, games, the occasional casino, and trivia. After reuniting with her loving husband and parents in heaven, there is no doubt Laura is already matching her wit against Alex Trebek and swooning over Elvis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in her memory to the Forward Paths Foundation at https://forwardpaths.org/donate/.
