Joan Ellen Guidi

On July 9, 2011, Joan Ellen Guidi, beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Guidi, loving mother of Richard Kates and wife, Rebecca, grandmother of; Zachariah, Walker Rayne, Dylan Kates and Adam and Robert Brasso, great-grandchildren; Kayli Burton and Addison Kates.

Born in Boston, MA, where she lived until retirement and then became a resident of Sun City Center, FL for 17 years with her dog, Eddie. She moved to Brighton Gardens, Columbia, Maryland in 2010 to be near her family.

She was a graduate of Northeastern University, Boston, with a BSN cum laude, and received a Masters from Assumption College in 1985. She was a nurse for over 15 years, helping families in Rehabilitation Counseling, Head Nurse of Diagnostic & Evaluative Neuro-Psychiatric Unit and was a Staff Education Instructor-chronic care & rehab.

A Memorial Service will be private.
