On April 22, 2011 Janice Lorraine Parker Skinner, loving wife of Hubert G. Skinner, MD passed away after a brief bout with cancer. Daughter of James and Trousdale Parker of Nashville, Tennessee. Mother of Craig J. Skinner, MD and wife Donna and Gerard L. Skinner and wife Regina. Grandmother of Melina and Sophia Skinner. Sister of Sharon Parker Doucet and husband Philip. Predeceased by brother George and sister Venorian. Aunt of Terrance and Georgene Parker, Faybrienne, Venorian and philip Doucet, Jr., and Raghib, Qadry, and Sulaiman Ismail and other loving relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends at Witzke Funeral Homes, Inc., 5555 Twin Knolls Road, Columbia, Maryland 21045 on Friday 5 to 8 pm. Services will be held at St. John Baptist Church, 9055 Tamar Drive, Columbia, Maryland 21045 on Saturday at 11:00am. Interment to follow a Columbia Memorial Park.
