On May 15, 2013, Harry Hideto Fuchigami of Ellicott City ; beloved husband of the late Shirley Fuchigami; devoted father of Harry S.E. Fuchigami, Dora Baldwin, John Fuchigami, Lee Fuchigami, and Heather Fuchigami; loving brother of Dorothy Sanyal and Jean Tsunemoto; cherished grandfather of Sarah, Bethany, and John Isaac Fuchigami, and Asher Baldwin.
He proudly served in the US Army for 26 years, retiring as a full Colonel, followed by a long, successful career in the government and private sector. He lived a selfless life not only serving his country, but generously providing for his family, friends and even strangers. A caring and charitable man of great honor, integrity, wisdom and character; he instilled the same in so many others, and will be forever cherished.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 1:00pm. At the Witzke Funeral Homes Inc. 5555 Twin Knolls Road. Columbia, MD 21045. Interment private.
