Christine Vester had 93 remarkable years. She took part in 3 generations of child raising and most everybody knew her as Grandmommy. Feisty, sharp and so emotionally intelligent, she knew healing happens when you let the emotions wash over you and you feel them completely.
Christine Capehart Vester is survived by her husband of 71 years, Benjamin H Vester Jr, her two sisters, Jacqueline Fletcher and Ruth Hampton, her two daughters, Susan Prevas and Bette Wing and her son, Benjamin H Vester III, and a whole slew of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed but her impact on all was profound.
May she rest now.
In her last years she most enjoyed observing and feeding the wildlife out her living room window. In lieu of flowers the family suggests you consider a charitable donation to The Nature Conservancy.
