Arnold Everett Preston

On January 4, 2015, Arnold Everett Preston, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed from this life to the next at the age of 96. He was born in Northfield, Vermont in 1918, joined the army in 1940, and served during World War II and the Korean War. In 1961 he retired from active service and became a civilian instructor at the Ft. Holabird Intelligence School. He retired from that position in 1971. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Evelyn Preston, 3 daughters (Elaine Henze, Diane Albright, Deborah Powell), 3 granddaughters and 4 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 17 at 1:00 pm at the Second English Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5010 Briarclift Rd, Baltimore, Md 21229. He will be interred at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
