AnnMarie, is preceded in death by her parents James and Verina Wilson and brother Rudy Wilson. She will be missed by her siblings, Karen and Christopher Wilson; her children Ashley and Daniella Layfield; her beautiful and adorable grandchildren, Amayah, and Jaylin Layfield; her niece Natasha Wilson-Grant; nephew Sean Gaston; great nieces Quinisa and Quiera Grant; great nephew Elijah Grant and a host of extended family and great friends.
AnnMarie was a retired Naval veteran who served her country in active duty and later as a reservist. She lived a quiet and private life, always choosing to enjoy time with her family. Her most important desire was for everyone to love and respect each other. This was exemplified AnnMarie lived her life.
In her spare time, AnnMarie enjoyed the outdoors, fitness, at home crafts and traveling. She looked forward to exploring the world more. Her spirit was always bright and upbeat; her smile was infectious! An independent woman, AnnMarie touched the lives of so many in the simplest of ways without intention. AnnMarie personified strength and resilience even during the most difficult of times.
A visitation for AnnMarie will be held Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Witzke Funeral Homes Inc., 5555 Twin Knolls Road, Columbia, MD 21045. A funeral service will occur Monday, June 13, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Witzke Funeral Homes Inc.
Repast will follow immediately after the Services.
