Susanne Marie Rhoades was born December 17, 1956, in Hawthorne, California, to father Jerry Lee Rhoades and mother Elizabeth (Betty) Lorraine Silva Rhoades. She passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019, in her residence at Braswell Chateau Villa in Redlands, California. She was 62 years of age.
Preceded in death by both parents. She is survived by her son, Cody Lee William Hosking; sister Linda Rhoades Avlas (Morris Avlas); sister Cathy Rhoades Lopez (Rueben Lopez); brother John Rhoades (Melinda Daneke-Rhoades); eight nephews; six nieces; eight great-nephews and six great-nieces.
Sue was a loving mother devoted to her son Cody. Their love for one another was undeniable.
Sue was a daughter who honored her mother and father with everything she had; putting her mother first always, even before herself.
Sue was a sister who embraced the love of Linda, Cathy and John with opened arms. She was an auntie to all, and even to those not related.
Sue loved to craft. Her photo books and diaper cakes were remarkable.
Sue’s infectious laugh, her love of children and animals, family and friends could not be compared.
Sue gave willingly and freely, always with a smile on her face.
Sue had the biggest heart of anyone in the room.
Sue’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be forever missed.
