Shirley A. Pearce
Shirley Ann Meyer (Cagle) (Pearce) was born at home in San Bernardino, California on May 27th, 1937, and departed this life on April 9th, 2025, in Yorba Linda, California at the age of 87.
Shirley attended elementary and high schools in San Bernardino. She then was a bookkeeper for husband (Jesse) at his service station business for many years. After the business sold, she then became an accountant for various retail businesses.
On May 4th. 1954, she married Jesse A. Cagle and they were blessed with two beautiful children (Ron Cagle and Vicki Cagle Koehl).
Together, they enjoyed many outdoor activities such as camping, fishing at Salton Sea, Lake Isabella, Snake River, Yellowstone, and Jackson Hole. They made frequent business trips to Las Vegas and enjoyed the different entertainment acts. Also, Shirley loved to dance and with Jesse, won several contests on a platform in the lake at Lake Arrowhead. Unfortunately, the marriage didn’t last, and Jesse passed away.
In November 1980, Shirley married Ron D. Pearce. Together they were able to travel the world. They enjoyed entertaining, not only family and friends, but also many people involved in their business and sports activity. They would also catch everyone’s attention when they danced at a party. Shirley became a Stepmom to Ron’s three children (Linda Pearce Mahan. Lisa, Pearce Schneck, and John Pearce) that she adored. They enjoyed many camping and boating trips, including riding a 3 - wheeler in the desert.
After twenty - eight years together, they divorced. Shirley then decided to devote herself to establishing a new home and caring for her beloved dogs. She treasured the friendships that she developed with her church members and valued friends. She would invite a group of women to celebrate Easter at her condo in Palm Desert. They would have a grand time shopping, dining and going to Easter service. She kept active in her social life traveling with friends to Italy, Spain, Europe, and Russia.
