Sharon grew up happily in Keokuk, Iowa. She moved to California with her mother in 1957. She went to beauty school and became a beautician. She also worked nights as a waitress, where she met her husband, Harry. They married in 1959 and moved to Highland in 1963. They had three children, Jeffrey, Rosemarie, and Lisa.
Harry died young and Sharon found herself with no job, no drivers license and three young children. She got a job working at Emmerton Elementary as a yard duty and lunch monitor. She slowly put herself through school and became a Special Education Teacher and worked for 47 years in the San Bernardino School District.
She is survived by her two daughters, five grandchildren, one great granddaughter, one niece and one nephew.
She passed at age 86.
