Alex was born on February 16, 1938 in Everett, Massachusetts to Hannah and Alexander Gray Cumming. He had a sister Lois Ball who died in September 2017 at 88 years of age.
Alex is survived by his wife - Theodora P. Cumming, daughter - Cassandra Arias, nephew - Charles Ball, great-nephew - Brian Ball, great-niece - Natalie Ball-Taylor, niece - Leslie Martin and great-nephew - Tristan Martin. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lois Ball, his mother Hannah Cumming and his father Alexander Gray Cumming.
Visitation will occur on Monday, July 22, 2019 in the main chapel at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary from 12pm - 1pm, the Funeral service will follow from 1pm-3pm, and a Graveside service at 3pm.
Afterwards, attendees will be invited at Happy Family Vegetarian Restaurant, at 2150 S Waterman Ave. San Bernardino, CA 92408
