Robert Joe Esparza Sr, 64, went to be with our lord on the 10th of August 2020. He was born on the 28th of January 1956 in Los Angeles, California. He was married to the woman of his dreams, Patricia, on the 5th of November 1977, and loved her 42 years until his passing.
Robert loved adventure. Whether it was a relaxing day on a boat fishing in Lake Tahoe, rafting down a wild section of the Truckee River, searching for Sand Dollars in Carpinteria, or simply walking down the Las Vegas Strip, Robert enjoyed traveling. The memories he made with his loved ones were things he treasured and talked about, even days before his passing.
He loved good food and company, and he looked forward to the lunch dates he would have with his wife and children. Always cheerful, the conversations he could have were engaging, and no matter where he was or who he came across, he quickly made friends.
Robert was a kid at heart, and he loved to collect trains, and models of WW2 planes and ships. He also loved Baseball. He coached his son’s team, and when together, he’d take his children, nieces, and nephews out into the backyard to play a game. He enjoyed the arts, and would spend hours drawing and painting landscapes with his children. He was also very passionate about music, and spent much of his time listening to the songs of his youth.
Robert loved many things in his life, but nothing more than he loved his family. He was dearly loved and cherished by his wife, children, and grandchildren. Whether they were playing, telling silly stories, or just sitting together, his grandchildren loved to be with him. His memory lives on in their hearts.
Robert is survived by his wife Patricia, his children and their loved ones, Alexandra and Craig, Jennifer and Matthew, and Robert and Anhthi, and his grandchildren Taylee, Ellerie, Ryleigh, Isabella, Autumn, Marianne, Douglas, and Coralie, and all his brothers and sisters.
