Born in Calipatria California, he was inducted into the Army on February 16, 1943 at the age of 19. He married our mom on January 25, 1944 while serving our country during World War II.
In the Army he was an Army Airborne Surgical Technician. He was awarded two Overseas Stripes, an Asiatic Pacific Ribbon, two Bronze Stars, an American Defense Ribbon, a Good Conduct Ribbon and a Combat Infantry Badge.
Dad was a professional automobile painter. He went on to open his own business in Victorville, California. He also worked for several auto dealers and eventually retired from DeWitt's Auto Supplies in Riverside, California.
Dad's passion was body building. He was also a fan of opera music, history, westerns and never passed up a good boxing match. Mom and Dad went on to enjoy retirement together. They loved the beach, dining out, enjoyed the Kingdom Hall and going out on Service.
He will be missed. Survivors are his daughters: Diana, Patricia, Theresa and their families.
