Pete Dominic Sclafani, age 76, born August 13, 1947, in Fontana, California, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. He was born to his parents, Antonio and Josephine Sclafani. Pete graduated from Fontana High School in 1965; from there, he began working at March Air Force Base as a barber for 5 years. He then pursued a job at Alumax Aluminum for 30 years. He then continued his work at Louisville Slugger for 10 years. He ended his working career at Amazon Warehouse for 2 years. He was survived by his wife, Judy, his three kids, Tony, Brian, and Jody, and his grandchildren, Nico, Zach, Jake, AJ, Haley, Brian, and preceded by his two granddaughters Kaitlyn and Breanna. He was also supported by his daughter-in-laws, Amber and Amy. He had two sisters, Florence and Mamie, and 9 brothers, Sam, Jim, Steve, Joe, Mike, Anthony, Frank, Nick, and Fred. Pete enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was an active member of the Sons of Italy club and the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Pete devoted his time to his wife, kids, friends, and family. He was known as a hardworking man and helped those around him. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He has touched many lives and has had a great impact on the community. Pete will be dearly missed and his memories will forever be cherished.
A visitation for Pete will be held Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Montecito Cypress Chapel, 24145 Barton Road, Loma Linda, CA 92354. A rosary service will occur Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 6:03 PM to 7:00 PM, 24145 Barton Road, Loma Linda, CA 92354. A mass will occur Friday, February 23, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at All Souls Mausoleum, 3510 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. A committal service will occur Friday, February 23, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, 3510 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324.
