Patrick Rocke Joseph Longo, age 82, born July 14, 1932 in Queens New York, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2014 (Veterans Day) at 2:45 p.m. in Loma Linda, Ca surrounded by his loving family. Patrick was the first child born to Pasquale Longo and Annie Tierney. He is survived by his sister, Anne Arpino (Tony) and was preceded in death by his brother Bernard (Ben) Longo (Marie). He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 62 years Patricia (Patty), his beloved children, Diane Smith (Steve), Nancy Longo, Robert Longo(Tippi), Dawn Longo, Julie Doran(Alec) and Patrick Longo (Jill). He was also a cherished Papa to 10 Grandchildren: Isaac Longo, Justin Longo (Chase), Lisa Mena (Timothy), Katie Weaver (Chad), Leonard Doran, Blake Doran, Brandon Doran, Michael Longo, Abby Longo and Cooper Longo, an adored Great Grandpa to Carlton Mena, Caleb Mena, Grant Weaver, Grace Weaver, Landon Longo, and Chandler Longo, and was loving “Uncle Pat” to several nieces and nephews. He served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He was a faithful and generous supporter of his family and worked for many years at Stoeger Arms Corporation as a general manager. He was respected and loved by his co-workers and employees alike. In his retirement years, he remained active, still working after moving to Pahrump, Nevada as an estimator until he was 76 and his health deteriorated. He continued to bring joy and happiness to everyone who had the privilege to know him. Kind, generous, charming, handsome and fun loving, loyal to family and friends, Patrick will be deeply missed by all he leaves behind. He leaves behind a legacy of family devotion, love, affection and many memories to cherish. Memorial Services will be held at Montecito Valley View Chapel 3520 E Washington Ave, Colton, Ca. Friday, November 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Burial immediately following service at Montecito Memorial Park.
