Naomi was preceded in death by her loving husband, Pastor V.N. Joseph, in 1997 and her younger sister in 2011.
Naomi married Pastor V.N. Joseph and spent the next 42 years supporting him in his ministry in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She lovingly raised their 5 children and never turned away any other children or teenagers that came to their home for support. Her skills in the kitchen were famous among the missionaries and church members and she was always happy to feed and house them. She provided guidance to her children until her passing.
Naomi had a fruitful career as a clerical worker at JonBec Care where she spent the last 15 years of her life working. She was the company mom and everybody knew her and looked for her cheerful smile and greeting.
Naomi's childhood years were spent in West Malaysia. Naomi lived the final years of her life in Grand Terrace, CA.
She always made time for her hobbies which included church activities, cooking, entertaining, family time, listening to music, reading, and socializing. She always had a thriving garden of both flowers and vegetables. She spent many hours taking care of her roses and bougainvillea. She also loved to travel and happily accompanied her husband when he had to travel for his ministry and later in life went on trips with her children.
Most of all Naomi loved her family. She is survived by her cherished daughter Jenny Joseph-Walker (Edward), her dearest sons James Joseph (Mary Ann), Jonathan Joseph (Becky), Jessie Joseph (Marie) and Isaac Rajaloo (Jessy) along with her caring grandchildren , Jeremy Kramer, Steven Kramer (Katelyn), David Kramer (Arin), Angeline James, Adrian James, Jennifer Krishnan, Jasen Krishnan, Lynnie Joseph, Jenny Joseph, Jason Joseph, Ashley Joseph, and her great-grandchildren Noah Kramer, Josh Kramer, Asher Kramer and Sawyer Kramer. She is also survived by her loving brother Moses Ramaiah.
Naomi will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched. We have the blessed hope that we shall be reunited when Jesus returns to take us to His Heavenly kingdom where there will be no more mourning, sickness, pain or suffering.
