Son of Miguel and Guadalupe Flores, he was born on September 25, 1942 in Zacatecas Mexico. Mike was a Chef for over 30 years and worked in sales to the restaurant industry. He lived in California most of his life and the last two years lived in Papillion, Nebraska.
Mike is survived by his daughter Estella and son Michael. He is also survived by his grandchildren Helena, Nathan, Robert, Danielle, Michelle, Ruben Jr. and Christopher; great grandchildren Owen and Ariana. Mike is also survived by brothers, Jose Mendez, Arthur Flores, Joe Flores, John Mendez, Sal Flores and sisters Sarah Trevino, Maria Rodriguez, Carmen Rodriguez, Lupe Flores, Elena Moore, Carol Carrera and Margie Broh and by several nieces and nephews who life he touched.
Mike was predeceased by his parents Miguel and Guadalupe Flores, sister Rosie Ortolani and brother Tony Flores.
A visitation for Mike will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at Montecito Memorial Park & Mortuary, 24145 Barton Road, Loma Linda, California 92354 followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am. Mike will be laid to rest in Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324.
Following the burial, family and friends are invited to gather at the American Legion Hall at 1:00 pm at 1532 Church Street, Redlands, CA 92374.
