Michael David Nielsen

“Mikey” loved his family and friends. He always had a smile for everyone he met. His beautiful blue eyes met everyone with kindness.

Michael was born at Loma Linda University Medical Center and lived most of his life in Yucaipa, CA. He graduated from Yucaipa High School in 2002 and started working at FedEx Freight where he worked for 16 years. He loved to go fishing and especially loved to teach the children in his life how to fish. He was happiest spending time at the family cabin at Panguitch Lake, Utah where he could ride ATV’s, hike, take pictures of the sunset, watch deer and wildlife, spend time with his family, and eat Grandma’s cooking.

He was a patient, kind, hardworking man.

Michael is survived by his parents, Thomas and Melinda Richardson, Brother, Matthew Thomas Nielsen, Grandparents, David and Judy Finfrock, Aunt Terri Campbell, Uncle David and Aunt Stella Maceri- Finfrock, Cousins Levi and Ginger Finfrock, Uncle Kavin Nielsen and Cousin Jeremy Nielsen. Aunt Kathy Haimsohn, Aunt Debbie and Uncle Tim Bohland, Uncle Jerry and Aunt Jody (Conine) Richardson, Uncle Mark and Aunt Mary Richardson. He is also survived by his friends and brothers for life, Eric Jennings, Johnny Rosales Jr., Jessie Riggs, and Mike Munoz, and Fulu Tuiasosopo.

Step-Sister’s Tyanne and Michelle, numerous cousins, extended family, and friends.
