Helen’s parents David and Antonia, and her brother, Benny, precede her in death. Helen is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ramon Sandoval and two brothers and five sisters, to include Lisa Chapel, Frank Moreno, Patricia Hubbard, Candy Walsh, Dianna Martinez, and John Anthony Cortez.
Helen was a lover of all animals, and she and Ray raised them as their own children. Helen is survived by her dogs Dusty, Bandit and Darla and her cat, Liam.
Helen was an accountant for Goodyear in San Pedro, California before transitioning to Garrett Automotive in Torrance California where she worked for many years. She then moved from Torrance to the Inland Empire where she worked as a cashier for the TA Truck Stop in Ontario, California and finally, Royal Truck Stop in San Bernardino, California until 2008 when she fell ill, and became home bound.
Helen loved to bowl. Both she and Ray, traveled to many tournaments throughout Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Helen was also an avid reader of several authors, but she truly enjoyed Danielle Steel and Anne Perry.
Helen will be most remembered by her kindness and generosity. Helen was known for her grand entrance into any family event, as she would light up the room with her smile and humor, leaving a lasting impression.
Helen would not want us to be sad, for she loved the Lord. She is now reunited with those she loved so much, who we are sure, welcomed her with opened arms.
Helen is not in pain anymore and that is all any of us could ask. We will miss her so much.
