Margaret (Peg) Koester passed on January 14, 2014, following a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, LeRoy Koester and four children, Ronald Koester, Leonard Koester, Tammy Saylor and Walter Koester. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Shawn Koester, Scott Koester, Rebecca Koester and Brandi Dixon, as well as one great grandchild, Malachai Hosier.
Margaret had the opportunity to travel to Italy, Okinawa and lived in several states due to her husband's military service. She was active in the 1st Methodist Church of Ontario, was a den mother for the Boy Scouts of America and active in the community.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014, 10 a.m., at Montecito Valley View Chapel followed by inurnment at Montecito Memorial Park, both at 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, CA 92324.
