Mrs. Madelyn A. Szolga, age 69, passed away at home in Henderson, Nevada on Sunday, February 12, 2012. She was born on January 23, 1943 in San Bernardino, California where she spent most of her life in San Bernardino, California until she moved to Nevada in October 2011. Madelyn worked as a hair dresser for 15 years, and then went to work for Home Depot until her retirement. She is an active member of the Ministry of Love at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. In her free time she loved to quilt, do various crafts, and photography. Madelyn is survived by her children Lajos A. Szolga, Elizabeth A. Szolga, and Jennifer M. Szolga. Her brothers Gregory Simental, Andrew Simental, and Smiley Simental, and four grandchildren. The visitation is scheduled for Thursday, February 16, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Montecito Mortuary Valley View Chapel, Colton, California. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM at Montecito Mortuary Valley View Chapel. Interment will take place at Montecito Memorial Park, Colton, California.
