I had the opportunity to work with Linda for three years in third grade.  She helped me transition to teaching the third grade and showed me an example through her teaching of what excellence meant in the classroom.  Linda always had excellent communication with her parents and made her class a fun and exciting place to learn.I know Linda was a believer in Jesus Christ as is in heaven with Him right now. I will miss Linda. A fine example of excellence in the classroom!

When I think of Linda, I think of how beautiful, smart and creative she was. I think of her as family. My love goes out to my niece Kristen and her family and they process the loss of their mother and grand-mother. She was a person with great grace.

Linda was a wonderful teacher and fine friend. I had the joy of working with her at Palm Avenue School. Being with her was an inspiration. Linda reminded me of a Vogue fashion model stepping out of the pages with perfect hair, makeup, style, and dress. She had a marvelous laugh and wit. So talented and creative, her classroom was a studio where students excelled. Musical, gifted on the piano, in her painting, and writing, there was always something to share and talk about. I took my first graders to watch her third graders perform Shakespeare. What joy; how she loved her children, making memories for the future. I am privileged to have known her.

When I think of Linda as a wife and mother, I remember how much she loved her children, her creative skills, how smart she was and her ability to learn new concepts. I will miss making her smile when I would ask for my pots and pans back, (inside joke). Linda will be missed and I know she is safe with parents. May you rest in peace!

Linda leaves a most beautiful legacy in this world in her precious daughter Brooke. May she live brightly in you and may you find peace in your sweet memories of your mother.
