Julia was born on April 13, 1928 in Fierro, NM.
Julia is survived by her son Tony Luera, eight grandchildren Aaron, Monica, Brandon, Christina, Anthony, Christopher, Jayson and Julie and nine great grandchildren Desiree, Destiny, Danica and Dylan Keifer (Christina), Nathan, Natalie and Lydia Luera (Brandon) and Gabriel and Bradley Luera (Aaron) as well as her sister Gloria Delvaille and brothers Ernest Luera and Richard Luera.
She was the matriarch of our family. A bright light to everyone that knew her. Julia loved unconditionally, gave generously and fed her family every chance she could. She loved a good cup of coffee and shopping at the mall. She walked everywhere she went and worked well into her retirement. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service for Julia will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, 3510 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324, followed by a committal service from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
