My God, I just heard about Gio 30 minutes ago. I can't hold back my tears. I met and worked with Gio back in 2014 at Hillcrest High School. I was a Security Supervisor and I had the privilege of becoming his friend. I want to extend my heart felt condolences to his parents and family. I hope my brother Gio didn't suffer for an extended period of time. He was a tough young man and I know for a fact he he did his best to fight to the end. I am going to pray for God to receive Gio into his beautiful kingdom of heaven. I will keep Gio in prayer. I love you brother. Until we see each other again in heaven, peace out.

Jio , I’m so sadden by your loss. Once a friend always a friend and you were always a great friend to me . We always had random trips random places mostly food places cause we loved to eat lol this picture is from a random drive to Hollywood blvd to get bacon wrapped hot dogs or the time we found out I lived around the corner from you in Moreno Valley my rcc campus and you made me those fire tacos 😂. I loved you and missed you so much . It’s unfortunate that we lost contact with each other but I would think about you often. I was blessed to have you as friend for the years I had you . Jovanny, my best friend, my brother. Getting the news that you had passed was some of the worst that I have ever gotten in my life. The past 20+ years that we’ve been friends have been very special to me.  I will miss our almost daily phone calls,  going to get Tommy’s burgers with you, as well as all the other silly adventures we used to get into. Thank you for being there with me through both the good times and the bad.

To the Salazar family (Mr and Mrs Salazar, Nick, D aka tits) thank you for making me feel like one of your own. You all are my second family. I love you all very much. 

Brenda, I just want to thank you for making my best friend happy. He truly loved you with all his heart. We would always have conversations about how in love he was with you.

Going to miss you my boy rest in paradise

Our family in one picture shows you how tight of a family we are and how we always having fun and being the loudest the life of the party’s and how much we love each other. My family is strong and our name is stronger that’s why through these hard times even ones as difficult as this I know will make us an even stronger family. Brother I miss you and I know you’ll always be with us when we all get together you’ll never be forgotten I’ll make sure of that. 

Brothers forever thank you for being there for me on one of the most important days of my life. I promise I’ll watch over our brother you both mean so much to me.

Sending my deep condolence to the Salazar family.i was saddened to hear of GEO's passing..In working with him at HILLCREST HS we shared so much crazy fun and laughter we had good times..he was the most respectful person always ready to lend a hand he would shout my last name across the campus every morning with a ✌️sign and tell me see you n the RE BOUND..we spent our lunches at CHILITOS OR THE GREEK.he loved that Greek salmon salad..

Jovanny was an amazing human being! I have so many great memories working with him.  We talked often about sports and our love of betting on the games.  We talked about traveling and he was really looking forward to taking a trip to Japan.  I have missed his friendship so much since he took his leave of absence and would text him that I miss him every few weeks. We have all been praying for him and will continue to keep his family and loved ones in our prayers.  

My heart goes out to you and your family during this difficult time. I was so saddened to hear about Jovany. I am sending my deepest condolences during this difficult time.  I'll remember Jovany in many positive ways-with a big smile and a great sense of humor. He will be missed by all at Terrace.  He brought so much light into the lives around him.  May he rest in peace. 

My deepest condolences to the family. I had the privilege of working with Jovanny for the last couple of years at Terrace. He was so welcoming to me when I first started working at the site and I enjoyed his sense of humor and loved hearing about his camping trips and plans for travel. I will miss hearing him greet me in the morning with a loud shout of my name. He will truly be missed by many. 

Thank you for always being there for me when I would go thru hard times, always being a great listener, a great friend, and an awesome coworker. Working with you in the summer was always fun. I will miss sharing each others playlists, deciding on where to have lunch, calling each other to get on Call Of Duty and  exchanging memes on Instagram.  You took me to this cool hiking spot in Wrightwood during the pandemic because we were both itching to get out.
