Lifetime resident of San Bernardino John H Ruiz passed away peacefully in his home. He was 87 years old.
John was born October 20, 1936, in San Bernardino, California to Faustino and Carmen Ruiz. He had three brothers-Mario, Leo, Marcos and five sisters- Consuelo, Esperanza, Frances, Rosa and Gloria.
John was predeceased by his first wife, Helen N. Ruiz, and his siblings Consuelo Ruiz Lopez, Mario Lopez Ruiz, Esperanza Ruiz Marquez, Leo Ruiz, Marcos Ruiz, Rosa Ruiz Martinez and Grandson John Eric Ruiz II.
He is survived by his wife, Antonia L. Ruiz; siblings Frances Ruiz Benton and Gloria Ruiz Moyeda; daughters Janice Avila and Michelle Ruiz; son John Eric Ruiz; daughter-in-law Gina; Stepchildren Sam, Angela, Sharon, Freddie and Lorimarie; Stepsons-in-law Jack, Gene and Henry; Stepdaughters-in-law Gina and Anna. He is also survived by five grandchildren- Ernest, Lauren, Amber, Jessica and Adam; Nine Step grandchildren Samantha, Joseph, Amanda, Fernando, Johnny Joe, Jesse Giovanni, Isabella, Henry Jr and Mia; Nine great grandchildren-Mila, Gia, Ilana, Aubrey, Michael, Dana, Delaney and John Eric III (John John); Seven Step-great grandchildren Michael, Audrey, Pauline, Elvis, Adamarie, David and Emmary.
