Jennie V. Villalobos

Jennie Villalobos, age 87, passed away peacefully June 11, 2022 in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born November 24, 1934 in Colton, CA to Amado and Cruz Velasquez. She married the love of her life, Frank Villalobos, in July of 1954. Together they raised five sons and 2 daughters.

Jennie loved her family and was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She was happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children. Her joy came from having her family around. She shared her love through food and took advantage of any opportunity to have her family over for huge meals. She was devoted in her faith and volunteered her time at her children’s school and with her local church throughout her years.

She is survived by her husband, Frank and their children, Isaac, Henry, Manuel, Albert and Dolores and has an amazing number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, David, daughter, Christina, her parents and 13 siblings.

A visitation will be held at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E. Washington St in Colton from 4pm to 8pm on Monday, July 18, 2022. A Catholic mass will be held the following day at 10am at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Grand Terrace followed by a burial service and reception.

A visitation for Jennie will be held Monday, July 18, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 12745 Oriole Ave, Grand Terrace, CA 92313. A committal service will occur Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324.
