James (Jim) Miller was born in Dallas, Texas but was a resident of the Inland Empire for the last 40 years. He worked for Kaiser Steel as an open-pit iron miner for ten years. When the mine closed, Jim came to the inland Empire and worked for Entemanns/ Oroweat as a route salesman for 28 years. He graduated from the University of LaVerne with a BS in Business Administration. The motto that exemplified Jim's life was "Family First"
