James Earl Craine was born in Hallsville, Texas on August 11, 1945 to Louise Vine and James E. Willis.
He moved to California at an early age where he received his education. James met Mary (Helen) in 1967. this love grew to be a strong bond which they joined in marriage. From this union they were blessed with 2 beautiful daughters Trisha Lachel and Janem Ayanah. Their companionship was on that few experience..
James found employment with Sony Corporation in 1968 and remained there 20 years and later joined UWDC until his retirement.
James loved his family, it was shown in his everyday life. James was very gifted in mechanics and loved to work on his classic truck. James took pride in keeping his landscaping up.
James leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife Mary (Helen) Craine of 43 years and 8 months, his 2 daughters Trisha Mays (Kevin) and Janem Fontenberry (John), grandchildren Durrell, Shaniece, Alexander (AJ), great-grandson Jahlil. His parents Louise Craine, James E. Willis and Stepfather Mateen; siblings Charles, Roger, Carlos, Jerraine, Grady Jr., Roshon, Shatay, Nigel, Brian; sisters Mary, Anita, Pamela, Zondra; his favorite sister-in-law Alice Newson (Albert), sister-in-law Reese Winters, Brother-in-law Larry Winters; cousins Margarite Clark, Fran Williams, Larry Woodford Sr., and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
