Graciela "Grace" Lopez-Perez was called home to the Lord on January 20, 2021, at the age of 80. Survived by Robert Perez, her husband of 58 years, her children, Pamela Lemos, Michelle Perez, and Patrick Perez, son-in-law, John Lemos, daughter-in-law, McKinsey Perez, grandchildren, Xavier Troy Lemos, Lindsey Sarai Lemos and Witney King, siblings, Betty Rios, Juan Lopez, Frank Lopez, Antonia Lopez, Manuel Lopez, and Celia Lopez, and proceeded in death by brother Marcial Lopez. Grace was born to Marcial and Antonia Lopez on December 4, 1940, in El Paso, Texas. After spending her early childhood years there, she moved to Arizona with her Uncle Louie and his wife. In 1953 she moved to Los Angeles and then to Artesia (Lakewood today) where she graduated from Artesia High School in 1959. Grace and Robert met in June 1961, fell in love, and married on May 26, 1962. Grace held multiple jobs including a seamstress, Sears billing department, as well as working for National Can Co. She went to a vocational medical training program and graduated from the medical records clerk program in the late 1980s ultimately retiring in 2005 from San Bernardino County. Grace and Robert raised three children together Pamela, Michelle, and Patrick Perez. Grace was a loving wife, mom, and grandma who always worked hard to provide for her children. Despite the hardships she went through growing up, she was a kind, beautiful, strong-willed, God-loving prayer warrior. Grace touched the hearts of many around her. The Lord used her as a vessel of Godly wisdom, always giving great advice. She supported her family through everything always making sure to give thanks to the Lord for everything she had. She opened her home up to people and made everyone feel like family. She gave the biggest and warmest hugs making sure to spoil you with her love. Grace is now resting in the arms of Jesus and may her loving spirit live on forever as she rests.
