Gloria was a mom of three children, Philip, Veronica, and Patrick. She also had 1 granddaughter Kailey who she loved and adored. Gloria has two siblings, her brother Alfred who went to heaven in 2017 and her sister Phyllis. Her sister was her best friend, they did everything together.
Nursing was her calling because she loved helping people. She worked in the operating room for many years. There she made a great number of friends and helped a lot of people along the way. After she retired she had many hobbies. She loved to sing at church and made many good friends along the way. Knitting was also another hobby she really loved, spending time at the knitting shop and talking with friends always brought her joy along with singing. Gloria volunteered at Kaiser where she also made many friends and loved being there helping people. She never stopped helping people and was always an open ear to talk and provide wisdom from her years of experience.
Gloria was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and fought three long years always putting on a brave face for her family. Gloria would not want us to grieve for her but celebrate her life and all her accomplishments. She like to say “go live life and have fun” words that she lived by and try to do in her own life. Even though she is not with us today or tomorrow she will always live on in our minds and in our hearts and all the hearts of her friends. She is survived by her two children Veronica and Patrick and her granddaughter Kailey.
