My fondest memories of my Uncle Frank are when I was a young child. My Aunt Hortense and Uncle Frank would invite my mother and father and my two brothers and I over for barbecues. My cousin Mona and I would hang out and play outside or go indoors and play with her Barbie dolls and would smell the yummy hotdogs and hamburgers cooking on the grill and would come running when all the food was ready to eat. I remember my Uncle Frank always liked his meat well done, a little on the crispy side. I didn't mind, I liked my hot dogs burnt. They tasted yummy that way to me. My dad and my Uncle Frank would sit around and share their war stories with each other and whatever neighborhood gossip was current, lol. Yes, I  was paying attention to what the adults were talking about. I will treasure all those bbqs and appreciate all the time we spent together. Blessings to you Mona, thank you for sharing your dad with me and my family. 

May he be in the company of angels and rest in the palm of God's hand.
