Evelyn, it was an honor and a pleasure to have known you.  My brother Manuel sure picked the right mother-in-law. We will remember you for many reasons: your macaroni salad, your advice on practicing how to get up after falling, and how you said your door would be open if I ever needed to run away from home.  And, I will remember your sox!  You had a big heart of gold that you shared with all of us.  Tell Freddie that his Model A is running well.  Rest in peace, my friend.

Gramma Im glad I got to kiss you, hold your hand and tell you I love you one last time. I know you are in a better please tell Grampa and TIA hi for me. You have always been there for me no matter what I'm going through in life good or bad, you have never judged me nor put me down, and I thank you for that! I also thank you for the many times you gave me money and said hurry shhh stick it in your bra! You were always great at making me feel special. Ill miss the bingo hall, lottery tickets,rocky roads, waffles, being called 4 other grand kids before you got to syl and how I would sit on the stool in front of you to hug u and put my head on your chest u always laughed and said get outta here syl! I will hold in my heart forever the memories of us! Im glad i passed the test and I will carry on your famous Christmas waffles like I promised. Grandma, I was glad to be there those two weeks with you. Telling you all I wanted before you left us. I will always cherish that. Thank for all you did for me throughout the years, especially while in nursing school and when Mom passed. All our memories together are tucked away in a special place in my heart. Tell my grandpa I miss and love him, and tell my Mom the same and hug her tight for me. I love you grandma!!!

Tia, thinking of you right now brings many tears and memories.  You, like your brother(my dad) were always the fun "parents".  I'll remember your great sense of humor, your wonderful baked goods during the holidays, your laughter and good heart.  I know I will see you again.

Aunt Evelyn you were like a grandma to me.  I will never forget the love and thoughfulness you gave to my family and I.  I enjoyed sharing lunchtime with you at your house.  Lunchtime will never be the same.   My kids and I have gotten to enjoy you so much.  Thank you Aunt Evelyn for all the love you gave and wonderful waffles and pancakes you made me.  My mama Pieta also loved you so and Molcas too.  We love you Aunt Evelyn Forever! Margaret, Martin, Lil Martin, Manuel and Samantha.

My daughters reminded about Aunt Evelyn used to talk. How she used to speak Spanish and English in one conversation. I will remember how she always called all of us meia  (I am not sure on the spelling). She was always slipping my mom a 20 every now and then. I love you Aunt Evelyn and please say Hi to my mom for me.  I will see you again and when I do it will be like you never left us here.
