Elijah was one of a kind; some would even call him a hero. He was such an amazing father to his daughter. He did anything and everything for her. He always jumped at any opportunity to help those in need without hesitation. His soul was so bright that it touched many of the lives of those who crossed paths with him. He had the ability to instantly connect with people. He loved staying in contact with friends and family. He’d do his best to be at every event. He would also make efforts to be involved in his community. One of the largest groups he participated in was “The Outsiders.” He was so passionate about this group; his face would light up whenever anyone brought it up. Another passion he admired was working in construction. Yes, it was work, but it just brought him so much joy. It allowed him to make a living while doing something he loved. The quality he loved most about his job was how he could transform something that needed a little love into something so beautiful. He was fearless and willing to do anything, even if it proved to be challenging. He was eager to learn new things and just as willing to help teach others how to do things that would improve their lives. He truly was a friend to all. One characteristic that everyone who knows him loves is his unique, goofy personality. He was always able to make people laugh and enjoy life while they were in his presence. In 29 years of life, he has made such a huge impression and influence on everyone. He will be missed. His memory will live on, and our love for him will be infinite.
He was loved by his daughter Jiselle, his siblings, his nieces and nephews, his parents Christina, Ernie, and Justin, his aunts and uncles, and his grandparents.
These are the days of Elijah,
how God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things.

Remember Me In Quiet Days
Remember me in quiet days,
while raindrops
whisper on your pane.
Remember in your memories
have no grief,
let the joy we knew remain.
Remember me if once you wake,
to catch a glimpse of red sunrise.
Remember when your thoughts
do turn to me,
know that I would not have you cry,
but live for me, and laugh for me.
When you are happy so am I.
Remember an old joke we shared.
Remember me when
spring walks by.
Think once of me when you are glad
And while you live, I shall not die!
