Efren L. Gomez, 80 years old of San Bernardino, California, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at his home. A lifetime resident of San Bernardino, he was born on July 9, 1934 to Gregorio and Paz Gomez. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Elza Lorena Gonzales, and is survived by his wife, Francisca, daughters, Elizabeth Beers, Anna Maria Minjares. His brothers, Robert, Martin and Adolfo, sisters, Martha Macias and Yolanda Aguirre.
Also, his 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Efren worked and was the owner of La Cometa Meat Market in San Bernardino for over 55 years.
Chapel Service will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2014, 10 a.m. at Montecito Valley View Chapel, 3520 E. Washington St.., Colton, CA., followed by burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
