Diego Contreras, 85 years old, he was born in Colton, California on August 12, 1929 and passed away on February 20, 2015 at his home in Colton. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Maria "Sally" Contreras, brothers, Aristeo and Manuel Contreras.
Diego served in the US Army in Korea and later worked at Norton Air Force Base for over 35 years. He was a volunteer at San Salvador Catholic Church for many years and was a Grand Knight for the Colton Knights of Columbus.
He loved a good boxing match on TV and enjoyed going to San Manuel Casino.
Rosary will recited at 10 am, followed by Mass at 10:30 am, both at San Salvador Catholic Church, corner of 7th St. and "L" St., in Colton, California. Burial will follow at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, California.
