Christina Morales Fernandez

Christina M. Fernandez, also known as “Auntie Tina” or “Tina” to family and friends, passed away on November 12, 2024. She is survived by her husband, Joe Fernandez, and her daughter, Dory Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Rodriguez, Jr.

She was also survived by many extended family members, along with many nieces and nephews whom she often remembered fondly.

Christina was born and raised in Redlands, CA, and graduated from Redlands Senior High School. Later, she moved to Banning with her husband, Joe. She and Joe had been together for forty-five years. She loved working outside in her garden, tending to the flowers that Joe had planted for her in their yard.

She was also a heart transplant recipient. This generous gift from a donor allowed her to have many extra years with her family. Christina’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all donors and their families. Their gifts are immeasurable to the families whose loved ones become recipients.

Services will be held at Montecito Memorial Park on November 29, 2024. The viewing will be held at the Cypress Chapel, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the burial is at 12:30 PM.
