Brenda Joyce Decker

Brenda Joyce Decker of San Bernardino passed away on July 10, 2020. She was born in St. Louis, Illinois 73 years ago to parents Earl & Lorraine Rehfeldt. She moved to California in 1970 where she met her husband William Decker. Brenda and her husband enjoyed travelling around the US during their 38 years together visiting Oregon, Minnesota, Connecticut, Wyoming, and Montana. In the Spring of 2015, she embarked on cruise with friends through islands in the eastern Caribbean islands. She was loving and easy going, known for her stylish sense of fashion and hosting holiday celebrations, including delicious baked desserts for everyone she knew. Above all, Brenda will be remembered for her dedication to her family, always going above and beyond to ensure they were loved and cared for, putting others before herself.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband William Decker of San Bernardino; her sons Joseph (Sue) Wright of Romoland, Tommy Wright, and Michael (Eileen) Decker of San Diego; three siblings, Philip Rehfeldt of Apple Valley, Kenneth Rehfeldt of Georgia, and Diana (Ron) Marx of Needles; granddaughters Andrea (Kader) Hadjouti of France, Windi Hazzard of San Francisco, Stephanie Marx of Menifee, and Danielle Wright; great granddaughters Aleyah, Norah and Lina Hadjouti of France and Emery Marx of Menifee; nephews Justin Marx of Menifee and Ryan Marx of Needles.

I had an angel here beside me. Sent to Earth to help and guide me. An angel always there for me. Sent to love and care for me. She cheered me up when I was down. She could make a smile from a frown. Today my angel earned her wings. Her harp, halo and other things. But today I am lost and all alone. For today God took our angel home.

There will be a private service held Friday, July 24, 2020 at 1:00pm.
