Audrey J. Coffey Dahlin Nugent, 81, passed away at her home in Loma Linda on September 26, 2019 following a long illness. She was born in Wolf Point, MT to Melbourne and Beatrice (David) Coffey, and later relocated with her mother and stepfather, Donald Dahlin, to Southern California. She spent her teen years in Fontana, attending St. Joseph Catholic School and Fontana High School, graduating in 1955.
She married Jerry Nugent in 1956, and was employed with the County of San Bernardino, then Triangle Rock Products, and eventually spent most of her working career as a secretary at Kaiser Steel Company in Fontana.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, who passed in 2006. She is survived by her daughter, Terri, and son, Jeffrey. Audrey was blessed with two grandsons, one granddaughter, and three great-grandchildren. She rests with her husband at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
