Arthur Alvarado

Arthur Alvarado, age 73, residing in Colton CA passed away before his time, on January 27,2023. Art was born on August 14,1949, he grew up in the San Bernardino area. Art graduated from San Bernardino High

School, where he met and fell in love with his beautiful wife, Sandra.

Art is survived by his wife of 52 years Sandra, son Jaison, daughter in law Staicia, son Nicholas, daughter in law Sylvia and five amazing grandchildren. He also leaves behind his siblings Raymond, Margaret,

Esther, Rachel, Rudy and extended family. He is preceded in death by his

parents Domingo and Gloria Alvarado, brothers Domingo Jr., David, Frank, Bobby, and sister Teresa.

Art had a 42-year career with Southern California Edison, where he held many positions. Art retired 11 years ago as a planner. Over his wonderful life he enjoyed many hobbies and sports. He loved camping

at the beach with family, and longtime friends that became family. As Sandra would say, Golf was his one true love! After retirement Art played every chance he got. He was a member of Mexican American

Golf Association (MAGA) and played several days a week at all the local courses. Art made many friends at Shandin Hills Golf course, Arrowhead Country Club, Colton Golf Course and Yucaipa Valley Golf Course. Art will be dearly missed by all. His big smile, loud laugh and his sense of humor will forever be remembered by those close to him.

Memorial Services will be held on March 2nd, 2023, at Montecito

Memorial Mortuary 3520 E. Washington St., Colton CA 92324 at The

Valley View Chapel at 1:00pm.
