Alexander B. Gonzalez

Born June 17, 1953 in Los Angeles, California, to John Gonzalez and Gloria Salazar. He went to St. Paul's Catholic Elementary School and graduated from St. John Vianney Catholic High School. Alex attended Los Angeles City College but ultimately found his passion at Los Angeles Trade Technical College where he studied auto mechanics then worked on Mercedes-Benz automobiles for approximately seven years. In 1992 he began working for a cable company and retired in June 2019 after 27 years. Alex was intelligent, passionate, loving, kind, gentle, charming, and hysterically funny with a great sense of humor and a gift for story telling. He enjoyed all music; he played a classical guitar but his love was playing a bass guitar. He played the bass in several bands in his 20's130's. Alex enjoyed swimming in the beautiful Hawaiian waters and at home, watching movies, documentaries and educational programs, fishing, tinkering with and modifying broken things, he could fix anything.

Alex was preceded in death by his parents, John Gonzalez and Gloria Salazar.

His memory will be cherished by his loving wife and caretaker E. Olivia Aldama, brother John X.

Gonzalez of Tucson, AZ, sister Linda Gonzalez (Colleen) of Sacramento, CA, sister-in-law Eloise Morales and Stella Aldama of San Bernardino, brother-in-law Joseph Aldama (Stacy) and many family members and close friends.

A memorial service for Alex will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, CA 92324. Following the memorial service will be a committal service at 11:30 AM
