Adrian Santa Maria Fernandez

Adrian Santa Maria Fernandez, a registered nurse, passed away unexpectedly on October 8, 2017 at the age of 42. He graduated from Canyon Springs High School, and later attended Riverside Community College where he earned his degree in Nursing.

Adrian was very passionate about his work. He cared for his patients attentively, and would often accommodate working long hours if needed. He had a generous spirit, and would often take family, relatives, friends, and even coworkers out to lunch (or dinner), and would even host random trips to casinos or Vegas to hang out. Adrian also loved all things unique, vintage, and antique like bicycles, parols, Christmas trees, chandeliers, cars, and cotton candy machines. He liked spending time renovating his house, gardening, and tending to his birds, and car collection. He also loved driving, travelling, and visiting his grandmother, relatives, and friends in the Philippines. If sad, discouraged, or upset, Adrian would always say "Umahon ka" - which meant, "rise up to your troubles." His presence, smile, and laughter will be sorely missed by his friends, family, and all those who knew him.

Adrian is survived by his parents, Arnold and Patricia Fernandez, his sisters, Annabeth, Sarah, Sofia, Pauline, and Sonia, his brother-in-law David, and his nephew Cayson.
