Bill was born July 24, 1934, in Tacoma, Washington. Bill’s wife of 64 years was by his side when he passed.
Bill is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen, children Vicky (Harold) Ulrich, Brian (Johanna) Perkins, and Suelyn (Derrick) Ghormley, ten grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one brother, Jim (Connie) Perkins.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Cliff & Velma Perkins, and sister, Glenna Stark.
Bill was a mechanic specialist in the Army from November 3, 1854, to October 18th, 1957, and retired from
Fort Carson as a Civil Servant Mechanic in October 1986. Bill owned and operated Windy Hill Auto Repair here in Falcon for 25+ years.
Bill adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a member of the Falcon Baptist Church. Bill was a talented mechanic, enjoyed woodworking and a big defender of our 2nd Amendment and a life long member of the NRA.
A funeral service for William will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Falcon Baptist Church, 11095 Eggar Dr, Peyton, CO 80831. A graveside service will occur Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80925. A reception will occur Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 11095 Eggar Dr, Peyton, CO 80831.
