Bill would like you to know that his work here is done. He received a call you can’t refuse. He has an assignment from which he will not be returning. This assignment includes a reunion with family and friends he has not seen for a long time. This new position takes him to a wonderful place where he will no longer be in pain; his body will be completely healed from all human illness and accidents. He enjoyed his life in Alva, Oklahoma where he was born, went to 12 years of school, and graduated from Northwestern. He had friendships from Alva that lasted his entire lifetime. He lived in Colorado for the majority of his life. . He married Marjorie Hastings and they had two children: Teri Lyn and Mark Allen Harger. He has two grandchildren, Dustin Williams and Destiny Alexander and one brand new grandson he called “Mickey”. He also has one brother, John Valdevieso. He loved baseball and football, and coached Little League baseball for many years, teasing people, jokes, and life in general. He had a creative mind, invented a new way of doing “Curb work” that made him quite proud. He had his own business, Keyway Curb Company, for over 30 years and been in road construction for over 50 years. As a family, we want to let him know that as hard as his job was on earth, he did a great job. We all wish him a peaceful journey. We will remember his humor, his creativity, his compassion for others, his great strength in not feeling sorry for himself and “to keep moving forward”, his love of family and friends and his honor and integrity in all that he did. He worked hard from the time he was a little boy up until he left this life. He will be missed.
