Bill was born to David Sr. & Norma Ferrier in 1947 in Sioux City, IA. He graduated from Widefield High School. He married Kathy Ferrier in 1971 and raised 3 children before divorcing in 1991. Bill served as a Yeoman Second Class on a minesweeper during his time in the Navy, he was always proud of his service. The course of his life dramatically changed in 1969 when he suffered a severe TBI in a car accident caused by a drunk driver that took the life of his father, David Clinton Ferrier, Sr. He supported his fellow veterans by donating to the DAV (Disabled American Veterans). After retiring from the Navy he earned an Accounting degree from PPCC.
Bill was a lifelong coffee connoisseur, enjoyed bowling, and an avid Broncos football fan. He was proud of his family and often supported his children with their extracurricular activities.
He was the 2nd of four siblings. He is preceded in death by his parents and his older brother David Jr. He is survived by his brother & sister (Larry and Sue), ex-wife Kathy, children (Jeff, Michele [daughter-in-law], Julie, & Jody), 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for William will be held Monday, February 13, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Restored Hope Church, 623 Tia Juana Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
A funeral service will occur Monday, February 13, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 623 Tia Juana Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
A committal service will occur Monday, February 13, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80925.
