in Colorado Springs. He joins his precious Helen of 70 years in marriage.
He was born in Garden City, Kansas to Pearl Marvel & Warren Earl Nelson on March 23, 1929. He attend Palmer High School. Class of “47”. He married Helen Alberta Lockwood on October 1, 1949 in Colorado Springs. He joined the Navy at 17 for a period of time, and then worked various jobs before
rejoining the Navy. He retired May 1, 1970. He then went to computer school. He worked for several
different companies. Helen preceded him in death on March 2021.
He is survived by his three sons, Warren Keith Nelson Jr., Herbert Neal Nelson and Justin Alan Nelson and their families.
Visitation and Funeral Service will be at Westside Global Methodist Church 701 N. 20th. St. Colorado Springs, Colorado 80904 on January 17th, 2024 at 10am.
A private Burial will be following the Service at Spring Valley Cemetery.
Warrens wishes were donations to the Heart Association in leu of Flowers.
