Trevor was born April 24, 1985 at MacDill AFB, Florida to the proud parent’s of Myles and Tami Miller. He tragically passed away on February 9, 2014. Please join us for a celebration of his life, which will be held at 1:00 pm on February 14th at Mountain View Mortuary & Crematory, 2350 Montebello Square Dr., Colorado Springs, CO.
Trevor was an energetic little boy with a devilish smile that was contagious. Everyone around him fell in love with his exuberant personality. He had the ability to brighten everyone’s day and bring a smile and a laugh with his mischievous antics. Trevor loved camping and other outdoor activities. He was a passionate snowboarder hitting the slopes whenever possible with his brothers and friends.
Trevor graduated from Liberty High School in May of 2003. After graduation Trevor spent some time exploring different opportunities and in 2007 he wanted to serve his country and enlisted in the Army. After basic training, he was sent to Ft. Riley, Kansas to serve as a soldier with the “Black Lions” of Delta Company. Immediately upon arrival he was sent on his first of three overseas tours of duty that would include service in Iraq and Afghanistan. He earned several commendation and achievement medals for his exceptional service.
In July of 2013, Trevor completed his service commitment and returned to Colorado Springs. He always had an interest of becoming a firefighter and was presently enrolled in Pikes Peak Community College.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ford Miller and Fred Brown, and his uncle, Bob Brown. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Myles and Tami, brothers Trenton and Tyler, Tyler's wife, Kim, grandmothers Rosemary Miller and Ruth Brown, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and soldiers.
Trevor is gone in body, but will never be forgotten in spirit. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Wounded Warriors Project (woundedwarriorproject.org).
