Toni Cavanaugh, 77, of Lakewood, CO, passed away on Thursday December 28, 2011. She was born on March 15, 1934 in Tsuyama, Japan. Toni spent much of her life living in Colorado Springs, CO and was an active member of Soka Gakkai International –USA. She was passionate about sewing and also enjoyed watching football. She was preceded in death by husband Joseph Cavanaugh and son Joseph Jr. She is survived by 3 children, Rich, Teresa and Thomas, 6 grandchildren, Amy, April, Scott, Kristin, Holly and Jake, and 5 great-grandchildren, Marissa, Devon, Alec, Paige and Amber with one more on the way. She is also survived by 5 siblings and several relatives in Japan. Her service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
